The Republic of Yemen is in the process of further restructuring its
curriculum for basic education, and Education Development Center (EDC), a
Boston-based NGO, is assisting in that effort. We cordially invites native
speakers of Arabic who have advanced degrees and SOLID experience in
curriculum development and/or materials development for grades 1 to 6 to
apply for consideration for short-term consultancies in: Social studies,
Arabic language, mathematics, science, Islamic studies. Although not
required, interdisciplinary experience is a plus. Both men and women are
   invited to apply.

Positions would last for one-two months, with compensation based on experience (given project budgetary constraints). Timing is subject to mutual agreement, with some positions available in the very near future. Successful consultants will be housed at EDC's office and guest house in Sana'a and will be working with teams of highly motivated Yemeni educators.
