International Scientific Conference on Water-Related Diseases Abuja, Nigeria, November 1 - 8, 2003

Call for Papers and Exhibitions: Deadline January 15, 2003

The Planning Committee of the International Scientific Conference on Water Related Diseases cordially invites scientists, clinicians, engineers, administrators, health care professionals and policy makers worldwide to submit abstracts of their original works for presentation. The focus of the Conference is in the areas of basic science, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, control, technological management of potable water delivery, and policies governing water-related diseases.

The Conference is sponsored by the Nigerian Government through the Ministries of Health; Water Resources and Rural Development; and Special Projects, and several significant international contributors. For further information about the Conference, please visit our website at: http://www.gcowd.com

Submission Format: The submissions should represent original work, never presented or published elsewhere, and may be presented orally at the podium, or as posters and/or as exhibitions. A typed abstract for each presentation and exhibit should be submitted separately to the Review Committee, containing no more than 250 words. All abstracts should be typed double-spaced in font size 12, allowing a one-inch blank margin on all sides. For authors who wish to send abstracts electronically, we request that the abstracts be submitted in Microsoft Word format. All abstracts should have the following sections:
* Title, in no more than 25 words.
* Names of authors followed by the name of institution(s). The name of the presenting author should be underlined.
* City and country where the institution(s) is/are located
* Body of abstract should contain a brief introduction, specific objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Inclusion of up to five references at the end of abstract is optional. Abstracts may be submitted by regular or electronic mail. If sent by regular mail, three (3) paper copies and a 3.5-inch floppy diskette with the abstract(s) saved on it in Microsoft Word format are required. Deadline for submission is January 15, 2003.
