CALL FOR PAPERS
THE FIRST NATIONAL INFORMATICS CONFERENCE NAIROBI, KENYA
29TH NOVEMBER - 2ND DECEMBER, 1995
The African Regional Centre for Computing (ARCC) in collaboration with the Computer Society of Kenya (CSK) and other industry leaders will host the first ever Kenya's National Informatics Conference in Nairobi between 29th November - 2nd December, 1995. The conference will feature highly specialized technical presentations, business solutions and exhibitions.
Full paper and poster presentations are solicited. Suggested topics include but are not limited to:
Software Engineering and Methodologies Multimedia Technologies Databases and 4th Generation Languages Management Information Systems and Data Communication and Networking Decision Support Systems Application of IT Government, Education Human Resource Management and Training Research, and the Private Sector Career Opportunities in IT Computer Architectures & History of Social Implications of IT Human Computer Interaction and Ergonomics Cyberspace and the Info Superhighway
Manuscripts for full paper presentation which should be 8-20 A-4 size pages in length must be submitted for refereeing by Friday, 29th September, 1995. A soft copy in MS Word, WordPerfect or LaTex (UUENCODED or PostScript) should also be submitted via e- mail or on a diskette.
