POULTRY MEAT AND EGG PRODUCTION
Modern technology can help poultry flock owners. No poultry
business can succeed very long unless diseases can be controlled
and that can be done by using new drugs correctly. The pharmaceu-
tical industry has been very aggressive in developing new vac-
cines which are effective in preventing many critical avian
diseases. They are available worldwide, and they are reasonable
in cost compared to the kind of protection that one can get.
This technical paper also contains formulations of feed that
might be feasible and also addresses the subject of selecting the
most appropriate birds.
