Please join USAID for a one-day conference about hunger, agriculture and trade 320 21st ST Washington DC October 24, 1995 9am-5pmParticipants will include NGOs PVOs, assoications, business groups, agricultural commodity and input organizations and intermodal and ocean transportation industry representatives. The conference will focus on three areas: (1) How food aid demonstrates America's commetment to meeting humanitarian needs (2) How food aid opens new markets for American agricultural companies; and (3) How international agricultural research and development helps American producers.
Senior officials will also update participants about today's re-engineered U.S. Agency for International Development and who should be contacted for what purposes.
