CANDIDATES NEEDED FOR FARMER TO FARMER VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

The following are short-term (2-6 weeks) opportunities to work with Peace Corps Volunteers and their communities conducting workshops or on-site informal training. These are Farmer-to-Farmer Volunteer Projects. Travel and expenses are reimbursed; there is no salary. Applicants must have at least 5 years relevant experience but there are no language requirements. * Suriname - Cassava production and processing (November or December). This is going to be a really exciting project and we are having a hard time finding people with this expertise. Please pass the word!

* Mauritania - animal traction (October - November); and soil erosion (November - December)

* Fiji - Commercialization of tilapia production (October or November)

* El Salvador - Livestock Veterinarian (November)

* Ecuador - Paper and plastic recycling (November or December)

* Ecuador - Livestock nutrition (November or December)

* El Salvador - Citrus production (emphasis on IPM) and marketing (November)

* Dominica - Dairy management (October - November)
