Thank you for your interest in our narrow-cast technology.
We have received a large number of request for additional information
so this email is designed to take the next step.
First, there are two companies involved...
PageActive Inc in Toronto, the developer of the narrow-cast
technology
Hudson Sierra Investment Inc, the original venture firm behind
PageActive
There are three ways for your organization interested in community support
applications to work with us:
#1 Just become a customer and use our technology directly in a system
owned and operated by the community service organization. To view
our technology please visit: http://www.pageactive.com
#2 To become a Value Added Reseller for PageActive serving a certain
region
or community. The organization who wants to take this VAR step
may need additional financing: Hudson Sierra is ready to help with
such financial requirement.
#3 Your organization may have an application or content with applicability
beyond the local community. In this case your organization may want
to do a joint venture with PageActive. This JV would combine your
contribution with PageActive's technology and market the new
combination
product throughout the world.
If interested in #2 and/or #3 please email a brief description of your
capabilities to Hudson Sierra's WebMistress: mailto:GianninaLR@aol.com
Hudson Sierra could also help with related technologies, if needed, to
complement
PageActive's product for special needs you may have. We are well positioned
in the Silicon Valley to get almost any additional complementary services or
technologies to round out the narrow-cast system for a community.
It is a server based system which can narrow-cast through the regular
telephone system, wired or wireless, multi-media information: sound, motion
pictures and data
all at the same time to simple client machines at the receiving end. The
client machine can be as simple as a TV set equiped with a low cost gaming
machine, or a PDA such as a Newton or a palm-top.
The system has been successfully used in North America for community-commerce
support for applications such as media events, sporting events, promotional
campaigns, distance leaning and training, medical info., etc.
It a low cost system and does not need any special hardware at the client end
or at the narrow-cast end: only regular web-type components are needed and
only the very lowest cost versions.
We are now ready to look for regional partners throughout the world to offer
this type of service in each community.
A somewhat more complete system can also be connected to the Web for
international commerce.
