I understand Mr. Moura's point re: the importance of recognizing the
diversity of perspectives in a heterogenous modern society, but what was
all that stuff about Moses? Is there really such a thing as a "true"
Rastafarian in Los Angeles? And what does this have to do with urban
development? Okay, okay,... we don't all see the world in the same way and
I agree that it's fundamental to successfull development efforts that we
understand this, however...when do we cross the line and make the judgement
that it's time - for either moral, ethical, idealogical reasons etc. - to
impose our world-view in order to strike a positive path into the future with
regards to our 'development' efforts???
