A speech by Dr. Shirley Malcom, on "Knowledge, Technology &
Development:  A Gendered Perspective" is now available from the WIGSAT
Document Ordering service. The speech was made at the Global Knowledge
97 Conference held in June, 1997 in Toronts. It was the keynote address
at a breakfast event sponsored by the Independent Committee for Women
and Global Knowledge.

Dr. Malcom is a Member of President Clinton's Advisory Council on S&T and Director, Education and Human Resources Programs at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAS).
