frankly on-line arguments are a great way of getting everyone thinking,
but they need to be constructive, and not full of unsupported rhetoric.
if the current duels had a bit more information and a little bit less
namecalling, i'd be delighted to have it continue.  after all, these
arguments are important for the way we plan our lives and design the
programs and projects that we are involved in, and they are important
for the future of the world, and even, in some cases, for the way we
vote for or lobby politicians and other power/money brokers.
