Two new papers on Development Informatics are available for viewing or
downloading from IDPM at the University of Manchester:

Initial papers deal with:

>>Donor-funded IT transfer projects: presents a lifecycle model that
investigates typical shortcomings in such projects, and provides guidance for IT project evaluators.

>>Status of the Romanian IT industry: presents a generic model for
IT industry development, and for state promotion of IT industries in developing/transitional economies.

Papers are also available on use of IT in public sector management, covering topics such as: IT and Government Accountability, IT and Public Corruption, Government Web Site Best Practice, and Decision Support Systems in Egypt.

More papers on Development Informatics will soon be made available, so the address can be used for ongoing links from other Web sites.
