An international firm seeking an NGO Capacity Building specialist for A 4-yr project in Botswana. 7+ years experience in international development required. Prefer Country/Regional Experience in Southern or Eastern Africa. The NGO Capacity Building specialist must have experience in assisting NGOs in improving internal organization and promoting NGO networking. Responsibilities will include strategic planning and program development; organizational assessments and NGO networking; and training & conduct of NGO workshops & conferences. Work involves a fair amount of travel and NGO outreach throughout southern Africa. Availability for fielding in the first week of October 1998. Salary under $47,000 + benefits. Salary commensurate with work experience.
