Study Ecology in Mexico

Combine 10 credits of ecology and applied mycology with additional credits in culture and language in a one-semester program in Veracruz State Mexico. SPANISH IS NOT REQUIRED. Veracruz state includes the northern tip of the neotropical rainforests, wetlands, mangrove swamps, arid zones in rain shadows, mountain meadows, coastal dunes, and Pico de Orizaba - Mexico's highest mountain. The wide range of environmental conditions makes it the ideal place to study ecology.

Michigan Tech is the lead institution for a consortium of schools working with Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, Mexico to provide this program.
