TO:  All IMAGELIB Subscribers:  Please note changes in access points,
additional directory items, and new searching capablilities.


UPDATE ON THE CLEARINGHOUSE


  Our newest entry is "Frank Lloyd Wright:  Presentation and Conceptual
Drawings" covering the discipline Architecture. It includes: Wright drawings
from the FLW Archives at Taliesin West; 4,982 images (subsequent volumes
document balance of Archive in 5-7,000 image increments).  You will find it
listed by its institution name, Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, under the
Institutions, A-H and the Media--Drawings directory.


  We have over 80 entries in the Clearinghouse of Image Databases. If you have
a new entry or update to an existing entry, I will be glad to add it.  Please
consult the Clearinghouse's directory entry number "1.  How to Submit
Projects," for the correct format to use when submitting.


ACCESSING THE CLEARINGHOUSE


1. (NEW) You can connect to the Clearinghouse from the U.A. Library's Web
server. Set a bookmark once there and you will have easy access to it.

and click on - Connect to the Clearinghouse of Image Databases


2. Telnet access:  Telnet to the University of Arizona's library
information system, SABIO.


  1)  telnet sabio.arizona.edu and login as sabio
  2)  From the main menu, select
       O > OTHER databases and remote Libraries
  3)  Select World Wide Web
  4)  Select * Connect to the Clearinghouse of Image Databases


3.  Gopher Access


  1)  gopher dizzy.library.arizona.edu
  2)  login: gopher
  3)  Select 10. Image Databases
  4)  Select  5. Clearinghouse of Image Databases
