I recently found a great web site. www.ellika.com. Give them a visit.
I think you'll like what they can do for us photographers.

I like the services they have to offer. The scan photographs to CD-ROM in a non-proprietary fashion (unlike Kodak's Photo CD). In fact they offer several different image formats to choose from including JPEG, GIF, BMP, and PhotoShop. They also handle 35mm film as well as all of the medium and large format film. They even provide a free image catalog and browser right on the CD-ROM for Window platforms and Mac.

It's great to have alternatives.
