Yes. The highest resolution camera on the market is the BetterLight 8000 which will capture an image at 8000 X 10,600 pixels. This is actual/optical resolution (i.e. no interpolation) and translates to a 244 MB RGB file at 24 bits The camera actually captures at higher bit depths. It also captures very quickly compared to other high res digital cameras. You can capture a 244 MB file in 66 seconds. If you don't need this much resolution, you can capture at whatever res necessary and commensurately shorter times. They also make a model 6000 and 4000 with lower maximum resolutions and are also less expensive. The image quality is fantastic as well.

That's my biased opinion (I've used virtually every digital camera on the market, past and present, and the BetterLight's are top notch).

They have a web site at www.betterlight.com

This all assumes you can use continuous light. I would recommend different cameras if you need to use strobe lighting and/or capture moving subjects.

Hope this helps.
