Hi there all

Does anybody have any suggestions on types of tape to use for masking 35 mm slides.

I am currently using 3M 1\4 inch 471 black plastic tape, I only have 2 rolls left and are about order some more, so I thought I'd check to see if they anybody has any alternatives.

I find the black tape a pain to use, as it bends easily and I find it hard to get a straight line at times.

I have used 3M 1\2 silver tape before, which is great to use as it doesn't bend and retains a straight edge, but have found that it breaks down after a while and has like small pin prick type holes, that let the light through.

Also does anybody know of a sellotape dispenser that automatically cuts tape into predetermined lengths, I can remember seeing these advertised somewhere but have been unable to locate them.

Thanks Paul Hillier
