I am just about to publish a catalog of American pre-war record label images on CD-ROM. I am using Extensis Portfolio 4.0 as my image database, and would like to produce a cross-platform (hybrid) CD.

I want the CD to auto start when it is inserted into the PC (I understand that Macs don't support this feature.) I want the user to see a splash screen with a button to launch Portfolio, a button to access the Portfolio help manual (a PDF file) and a couple of buttons to open PDF files that relate to the record label database (credits, introduction, etc.)

Has anyone ever done this before? It is a simple application, but this is my first time to master a CD-ROM and I don't know where to turn. Any help would be most appreciated!
