Ann et al,If you are talking about 35mm film scanners, you'll want to take a look at the new Polaroid Sprintscan 35, which is just being shipped to resellers this month. It's fast -- 30-seconds or so for full-2700 dpi scans -- and under $2,500. Also fast, good, but a bit more pricey is the Kodak RFS 2035 Plus, which is closer to $7K. The Nikon Coolscan is smaller than the Polaroid, but much slower, at about the same price.
