FROM: Helen Yam --UNMCVM(HYAM)I would like some advice. We are a medium size medical center. The Friends of the Library has given us some money to purchase equipments for digitalizing the medical center archives. If you have done text conversion to digital format before, will you please share with me what hardware and software you use. We will not be microfilming the collection. I would also like to know the pitfalls and good points of you system in order to make an intelligent decision. Please reply to me directly. Thank you in advance.
