I find the very technical discussion informative, even though its not directly applicable to my work in many cases;Regarding disparity between printed image and screen image; as a visual artist, that's very important to me. I've found the printer really account for much of this...our students are disappointed by the image printed in the lab but they know a commercial, expensive outfit in town can provide them with a printout that is close to the screen image, and that's what they use for the final portfolio or for exhibitions.
