  Animation Research Library - Database Manager


Under the supervision of the Manager of the Animation Research Library,
the person in this position will be responsible for entering data into the
database being created for the Animation Research Library, answering
inquiries related to the database, and supervising temporary help who
may be retained to do data entry on an occasional basis.  The person in this
position will also work closely with the Manager of the library and
members of the Feature Animation computer technology department, as
well as representatives from our software supplier to develop
enhancements for the library program, particularly in the development of
an image database.  This person will also interact with other departments
in the company that use similar databases.


Qualifications:  A Masters Degree in Library Science from an ALA
accredited school of library science, area of specialization either on-line
cataloging or visual materials cataloging preferred but not required;
experience working with on-line databases, especially databases related to
non-print collections.  Reference experience desirable.


No relocation is available.
