Sorry about that, folks. That's what I get for not understanding this editor very well...As I was saying, we will be starting a project to scan the morgue of a local newspaper and are very interested in hearing from others who have undertaken similar projects or are contemplating doing so. Topics of great interest to us include scanning clippings, scanning from microfilm, designing a storage system for scanned articles, developing an index, etc. We are doing the best we can to find relevant articles in the professional literature, but at some point in our design phase there will be nothing better than to talk to others who have "been there, done that" about what did and didn't work for them.
