Those of you who consult the Clearinghouse of Image Databases, will find a
new entry today. Maria Daniels of the Tufts University Classics Department
submitted a Clearinghouse entry, using the new WWW submission form, for the
Perseum Project. Ms. Daniels states that the Perseus Project's purpose (try
saying that three times fast) is "to aid teaching and research in fields
relating to ancient Greece by publishing in one location a variety of
resources: the works of ancient Greek authors, in Greek and in English
translation; morphological databases and lexica."

This image database is accessible via the Web and I've made a link directly from it's Clearinghouse entry.

You will find the Clearinghouse and IMAGELIB Archives homepage at http://www.library.arizona.edu/images/image_projects.html. If you are unfamiliar with the Clearinghouse, there connect to this URL and select "About the Clearinghouse."

The Perseus Project information is found in the Institutions, N-T section and in the Mixed Media section, again under Tufts University.
