I am passing on the experience of one of my clients since I personally have not yet tried this particular combination.

As I understand it, the limiting factor is the current version of ARA. You will not be able to fully utilize ISDN speed/through-put. ARA was not initially designed for ISDN. However, the upcoming version 3.0 is alleged to be able to make use of ISDN's speed advantage.
