I have been thinking of using our library's call numbers to form the name of each image file for digitized images from our books. This is the only unique identifier I can think of for each book, as many of our books are very old and predate ISBN numbers, for example. Have any of you out there used LC or Dewey call numbers as file names? Does this work or not work? What is your experience?Eileen Mathias
