Virage Interactive, Editor ------

As a team member within Virage Interactive, you will manage all editorial aspects of Virage's video search projects across an array of customers. You will work with Virage's Producers and customers to ensure

that the customer's video is indexed and annotated accurately and reliably. You will schedule, manage, and oversee the day to day work done by assistant editors to ensure that projects are completed reliably

and consistently. As Virage Interactive Editor, you will also establish and maintain Virage's standards and styles for indexing and annotating streaming video. Job prerequisites include strong written and oral communication skills, effective project management skills, and a strong aptitude for computers, information management, and the Web.

that make video interactive, thereby enhancing the use of video on the Internet. At the core of our offerings are products that enable users to search long-format video by identifying visual scene changes, spoken words, names and faces of recognized speakers, and topics discussed within each clip. The net result is a video search engine that allows content owners to use the internet as a new channel for existing TV and film video content.

In addition to our software products, Virage also lets customers gain the benefit of this technology through a service offering called Virage Interactive. This is a new part of our business.
