I just read in the newspapers this weekend about a Supreme Court ruling
upholding conviction of a corporation for copyright violation. The case was
agreed to as representative by both parties, and involved an employee
photocopying single copies of several journal articles for his files. The
article I read suggested that this is a complex area and employees should
consult their employer's legal department before making copies.
