Subject:      Subject-access to image collections

I am a graduate student at the Univ. of Alabama SLIS and have been doing
a paper on providing subject access to graphic collections.  If you have
the time, I would appreciate any information I could get from professional
librarians concerning this topic.  I also have read a lot about the use of
thesauri to provide consistant controlled vocabulary terms, and was wondering
which thesauri were used the most, and why.  I realize that you are all very
busy, but if you could take the time to e-mail me, I would greatly appreciate
it.
