Hello again! I know there are many shareware image viewing applications for Mac and Windows. JPEGView for the Macintosh is wonderful and has some features that are very important to us.First, is there a Windows version of JPEGView?
If not, I'm wondering if there is a Windows application that specifically does the following...
1) automatically scales large images down within the pixel dimensions of the monitor
2) efficiently uses memory by only loading into RAM the data it needs to display the image
3) dithers images to 8 bit color exceptionally well
4) allows the user to select an area of an image and display it in a seperate window at greater resolution (assuming the whole image was scaled down to fit on the screen)
Thanks in advance for the pointers!
