Archives Library

The National Archives Library has a new set of pages on the NARA web called "Reference at Your Desk". The pages are intended to provide quick access to the type of ready-reference tools needed by archives and records managers to assist them in their archival work.

The new pages are at www.nara. gov/nara/naralibrary/refmenu.html (or find the library link on the NARA home page). At the top you will see the link to Reference at Your Desk.

We consider this to be an evolving project. We are asking users to evaluate the pages and let us know what reference sources are most useful. We are also asking for your suggestions about adding other reference sources.

We aware that the links to SAA are not working at the moment. It seems to have been moved or removed -- I'll fix it as soon as I get an answer to my e-mail to the UT webmaster. Or if anyone knows where it's gone, please send us a message.

Yours sincerely,

Sheryl Griffith National Archives Library
