Corbis, a premier provider of high-quality digital content, is developing a new Internet tool and requires the expertise of an experienced Product Manager and a Senior On-line Engineer with strong web-based technical and management experience to take this product public.

These two positions are full-time opportunities based in Bellevue, WA; no contract work available.

Product Manager, Technology is a Senior role responsible for bringing Corbis' largest product, the CODY archive, online to the domestic and international marketplace via the Int rnet. Day to day internal planning for the products technical development, resource development and strategic responsibilities involved. Interaction at all levels of the company, including the executive team, marketing and technical staff.

Requirements: 5 years experience in product development 2 years experience with Internet technologies Experience with advanced web-based client-server design and database design Strong understanding of new media industry and issues related to digital content delivery/licensing Excellent project management/organizational skills

Senior On-line Engineer will provide design and implementation of systems that enable online access to the Corbis archive. Developing webserver based tools and applications. Translation of end-user requirements into functional and technical specifications; complete object modeling and GUI design.

Requirements: 6 years industry C/C++ programming 4 years UNIX, Windows 3 years experience leading SW development group 2 years On-line/WWW/CGI and web server development SQL and other database experience a plus Good understanding of: real-time SW development, system and application development, and SW testing preferred.
