Announcing several Internet resources for information about the new UC Berkeley School of Information Management and Systems:

** The Alumni Association of the UC Berkeley School of Information Management and Systems (formerly School of Library and Information Studies) would like to encourage the library community to visit the School's new web site. The web site is the most up-to-date source of information about the School:

http://www.sims.berkeley.edu.

**The School is accepting applications for students who will start classes in the Fall of 1997. The deadline for applications is February 10 (for fellowships January 5). Questions can be sent to, and application forms can be requested from, the following e-mail address:

The university will be closed from December 24 - January 1.

**The Alumni Association would like to encourage working librarians to tell promising future information professionals about the School.

**The Alumni Association is also pleased to announce its new web site, which includes information about the Association, the profession, and job postings:
