Hi Eileen --
Sorry to be silent -- but your assumption about silence would seem to be correct. At least in the case of my company (an imaging service bureau). We've been considering the move to DVD for awhile now, but we're holding off for all the reasons that you listed in your previous message. We'd especially like to see a standard move to the forefront before we jump in. In addition, many of our choices are consumer-driven. At this point, we simply haven't had any requests for DVD's. People are happy enough with CD's for now, and so we'll gladly give them that. Though in the future, we look forward to the increased storage that DVD allows.
I'm not sure this helps with any of your previous observations -- but at least you know that the listserve is listening!
