I would like to gather some opinion/feedback about choices and use of = embedded colour profiles in archival digital files. =20 As a rule, are people embedding the colour profile with the tiff archival = master image?

If so, which colour spaces are being used? Is ProPhoto RGB a favoured = colour space?

Do people feel there is a real benefit to saving the image data as 16 bit =
(as opposed to 8 bit) and using a very wide gamut colour space like = ProPhoto RGB?( Most specifications I have seen indicate 8 bit but few = state which colour profile they embed with the files)
