Subject:      Help! on file formats

Today I purchased a CD-ROM produced by Sony Electronic Publishing called the Haldeman Diaries: Inside the Nixon White House. The disk contains 700 photographs, which I would like to modify with Adobe Photoshop 3.0. The problem is that I cannot get Photoshop to recognize the formats of the images. Any suggestions?
