Does anyone have experience cataloging slide presentations in an image database? We're hoping to put together a company-wide image database of maybe 1000 presentations. Has anyone else done this? For us, a single presentation may have 10-40 slides that are primarily text. Ideally I'd like to attach all the slide images to one record which would describe the entire presentation, including presenter, meeting, date, subject, etc. Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of image databases won't let you do this. How do other people handle this? Do you catalog each image separately, copying the presentation info into each record? Do you have a way to connect individual image records together? Is it solely a matter of finding the right software (which has proved to be challenging), or are there other solutions? All advice welcome.
