Dear all, this message is being cross-posted to both lists, with apologies for any duplication. I am leaving NAL for a position at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where I will head up a team to develop a "virtual library". While images may be a part of this, they are not as central to the work to be done. I wanted to say an electronic "goodby" to both lists because not only have I commented a lot on them, I have learned much. Both lists are examples of the best in collegial information-sharing that the Internet has to offer. For those of you who responded to my request to evaluate the image CD-ROM, this may yet take place. All respondents were added to the pool. NAL or the University of Pittsburgh will let you know about the evaluation. I may, once I get my bearings a bit, re-subscribe, but that remains to be seen.
