Hello Imageists All,

I'm looking for image manipulation software with odd properties:

I'd like to be able to 1)search a database of images 2) select, by choosing individually, a sub-group of the total database; 3) name and have the ability to recall instantly this sub-group (and other subgroups) 4) have the ability to edit this sub-group easily (swapping out one image for another, and to change the position of an image in the subgroup, hopefully by dragging it) 5) be able to assign keywords to any image I choose, and thus the ability to recall any images labeled with the same keyword(s). Finally, and probably unattainably in any existing package (?) I'd like the ability to assign any subgroup to a timeline. So that, for instance, I can take an icon representing subgroup A and drag it to year 1, or year two, or year three on my timeline. By double-clicking on the timeline, I would like to be able to see which subgroups have been placed where, within it.

Whew!

Thanks for any feedback,

David
