I haven't seen anything that will easily do what you want. The Kodak/Nikon ($10,000???) option doesn't handle copy stand work too well (restricted frame of view causing you to hoist the camera up way high), and anything under $1000 (Apple QuickTake) won't have the optics you need or the ability to focus. The Kontron will do what you need. How many tens of thousands of dollars do you have?I say, put it on slide film, and then go to Kodak PhotoCD.
If you want to keep it in-house, go to slide film and then use a Polaroid Sprintscan 35 ($2000 + a computer) for slide scanning.
One more option that is quick, fairly low cost, but mediocre quality as well. Use a Canon Visualizer, which is a video camera on a stand with lights, to send a video signal to a computer (Mac or PC or ?) where the video signal gets digitized. Substantially lower quality than other options, but maybe the best "video" option.
Any other ideas out there?
