Subject:      digital scanning camera

Does anyone have any experience with or have suggestions for a low cost
digital scanning camera that could be used to capture text pages from bound
volumes?  We are planning to use the equipment to scan early printed volumes
with tight bindings that may not be able to open flat.  The volumes contain
no illustrations.
