Of course you'll find that the images hue and saturation have been hurt via age and storage conditions. The use of "Curves" (please refer to the User Manual) is the most powerful tool for making the best changes. Secondly, you'll find the "Hue/Saturation" control a powerful tool for refreshing the color saturation levels. While you're in the "Hue/Saturation" controls I suggest you adjust your [hue angle] a few degrees to see if color is restored closer to your idea of what the original look like. Note that this last suggestion work best when there has been some equal dye changes.
