Our image database currently hosts approx. 15,000 images linked to
catalog records and is, internally, searchable by any number of fields.
We are attempting to create a web version that is also searchable;
however, I have found very few museum, archive, or image databases on the
web that are searchable to any useful extent. If anyone knows of an image
database that allows for boolean logic searches on AT LEAST photographer,
subject(s) ,& date, whose search results in multiple thumbnail images
with text available, and whose search results can be saved or combined
with other searches, please let me know!
