The Editorial Library of The Palm Beach Post is seeking a summer library photo intern. This position is available in May for a period of ten weeks.* The library photo intern will work closely with the photo librarian as we begin image archiving on our new DTI image archiving system. We are currently working with AP MacArchive. In addition to 12,000 archived electronic images, we have approximately 3 million hard copy files in a rich photo collection.
The library intern will also work with print photo and news editors, section and page designers, new media staff, as well as editorial library research staff. Library or journalism training or experience is necessary, as is experience using a Macintosh.
There is a weekly salary of $400.
