First, thanks to all who responded concerning monitors and
printers being used ins scanning operations.
The list I received includes:

Monitors: Dell M770 17" color monitor Cornerstone 21" B&W monitor Compaq V1000 21" color monitors 21" EIZO Barco monitor (PCD 321)

Printers: Hewlett Packard 5si NX B&W laserprinter Hewlett Packard 5M laserprinter Xerox Docutech 135 B&W laserprinter Kodak XLS 8600 dye sub printer HP 5000 HP 890C color printer

My next question -- we are going to be digitizing older, historical materials. Has anyone run into concerns with exposing materials to intense light during a digitizing operation? (Either from a scanner or copystand set up) Is the concern really "light" or heat? How did you address the concerns?

Thanks in advance. I promise to summarize for the list.

Jill
