Hi,
I am researching which relational database management systems would be
suitable for cataloging the permanent collection of photographic art
prints here at the Ann & John Marion Center for the Photographic Arts,
College of Santa Fe. This collection is a new one, so there are no hard
copy records to consider or a database to migrate.
The system that we purchase would have to allow the images to be
previewed together with the accompanying record data, allow ready
migration of the data to another system at some future point, and cost
no more than approximately $2,500.
Are there systems that would be suitable to such as setting that you
would recommend.
I appreciate your advise and help in this matter.
Thanks,
