    Another issue with storing images in Filemaker is that there is a 2 gig limit on the size of the database. We found this out the hard way when we reached the limit and had to quickly dump all the larger images so we could continue adding records. We do still have a thumbnail field, but we generate them in Photoshop and then import them. Eventually, we will have to delete this field as well as we reach the maximum size.
