This does not directly answer the question about software removing curvature, but the software that comes with the Minol
a 7000 removes curvature of pages. Unfortunately, I think the hardware and software come as a package.

The only software I have been able to locate only works on panoramic images
taken with panoramic lenses.
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.
