Yes, I would like more details on your product. There are over 2 million
photographic images in our library, and we seek information on any
currently available software/hardware packages that would allow us:
      1. To electronically catalog individual images using multiple
subject headings and cross references as required.
      2. To digitize the image in a high and low resolution form for
public and web access to the catalog information and images.
      3. Use Marc format or other universal standard.
      4. To provide for linkages to our information desk for reference
information.
      5. To use ms-dos/network compatable.......Reasonably priced.

The majority of the collection is in negative form, in 35mm, 8x10 film and in 4x5 black & white dry plates or film. 15% of the collection is color negative or transparency film. We are interested in "seeing" and "trying" the product prior to purchase, the "proof is in the pudding" test, and plan to perform the work in-house, due to the delicate nature of the collection.

Is there anything out there? If so, please contact Diane Bruce, Librarian, 801 S. Bowie Street, San Antonio Texas 78205-3296; 210-558-2298; fax: 210-558-2205. mailto:dbruce@lonestar.utsa.edu Thank you!
