Please excuse the multiple list posts. I'm not quite sure where to go with this question:The process of digitizing an existing document can at times place you in the situation of refining the image to work in the digital environment. Content is not changed, yet there are those that feel that at this point you are republishing this material. Personally I question this thesis as the changes are done to present the image as a true representation.
I hope I have presented my question clearly and would appreciate your thoughts.
